There's a group of friends who've been close all year. Then, almost overnight, something shifts. One of them — a girl called Priya — does something the others decide they're annoyed about. Suddenly the whole group is cold to her. They leave her out of plans, talk in low voices when she's near, and answer her in one word. No one has said "we're not friends anymore." It's quieter than that. The strange part is that a couple of them don't even seem that angry — they're just going along with the freeze because the rest of the group is.
