At first Daniel found it flattering. Now it's started to feel suffocating — like he can't have anything that's just his, because the moment he does, it's copied. Daniel's tried dropping hints, even getting a bit annoyed, but the friend doesn't seem to see it. To the friend, copying is friendship — a way of saying "I want to be close to you, I want to be like you." To Daniel, it's slowly erasing the line between them, until he's not sure where he ends and the copy begins. He likes his friend. He just wants to be allowed to be himself.
