A girl called Anya has an older brother who's decided a rule is "stupid" — bedtime, screen limits, the off-limits cupboard, whatever it is — and he's broken it, and now he wants her to as well. "Mum will never know. Don't be such a goody-goody. If you don't, you're basically telling on me just by not joining in." Anya thinks the rule is probably there for a reason. But her brother is older and sure of himself, and "goody-goody" stings. He's framing it so that doing the right thing makes her the uptight one and the snitch, and she's starting to feel like there's no way to be good without being uncool.
