The Tired Morning After
Last night you were allowed to decide your own bedtime for once. You felt great about it — finally, no one telling you when to switch off the light. So you stayed up. There was a bit more screen, a bit more reading under the covers, a bit more of just not wanting the day to end. This morning the alarm felt like an attack. Your eyes are heavy, your head is foggy, and everything is taking twice as long. At breakfast you snapped at someone for no real reason. In your first lesson you can't seem to hold onto what the teacher is saying. Last night's you made the choice. This morning's you is the one paying for it.
Would you rather stay up late doing something fun, or go to bed and feel good tomorrow? Why?
