A girl called Nadia has a friend who's a master of the guilt trip. Whenever the friend doesn't get her way, she doesn't get angry — she gets sad and wounded. "It's fine. I don't mind. I'll just be on my own, I suppose." Big sighs. A hurt look. Somehow, every time, Nadia ends up apologising and doing what the friend wanted, even when Nadia did nothing wrong. Lately Nadia's started to notice the pattern. She feels guilty almost constantly around this friend, and can't always work out what for. The friend never demands anything directly — and yet Nadia always seems to end up giving in.
