A girl called Hana has a friend who only seems to like one part of her. When Hana is being funny and up for anything, the friend loves it. But when Hana is serious, or sad, or wants to talk about something real, the friend gets bored, changes the subject, or makes a joke to skip past it. It's like the friend signed up for the fun Hana and quietly refuses delivery on any other version. So Hana has learned to only bring the fun side to this friendship. She swallows the harder feelings, performs the up-for-anything version, and keeps the rest of herself for elsewhere — or for no one. The friendship looks great from outside. But Hana is only allowed to be half of herself inside it.
