Your teacher put you in a group of four and gave you a project to do together. The first session, everyone just sort of looked at each other. Someone made a joke. Someone started drawing. Nobody said what should happen first, so nothing did. A week in, the project is a mess of half-ideas and no plan. Everyone's a bit annoyed, but in a vague way — annoyed at "the group," not at themselves. You can feel it drifting towards a last-minute panic, or worse, towards the whole thing being rubbish. You can see what's missing. Somebody needs to say "okay, let's actually sort this out." The question quietly hanging over the table is whether that somebody is going to be you.
